1) A review of A History of Western Philosophy and Theology by John Frame
This has been a monstrous and amazing read. Frame covers the major events and figures of western philosophical history, along with key developments in Christian thought and theology. The framework he gives us for thinking about philosophy is, however, the most unusual and compelling feature of this work. I loved this book.
2) Studies in Leviticus: Safeguarding the Sacred
Next week we’ll look at Leviticus 24.
3) Establishing Clear Goals in Counseling
Counseling is focused. Aimless talking is not helping, so we want to explore next week both why and how to develop clear goals in our counseling sessions.
4) Ministry as Servanthood Not Authority
Borrowing from Bonhoeffer, I want to explore, next week, ministry as a servanthood compared with a view of ministry as authority.
