Due to a bit of vacation and a speaking engagement I didn’t post per my usual and anticipated schedule. So, this coming week I will return to regular blogging and will pick up where I left off. So, here’s what you can expect to read at Pastor Dave Online this coming week:
1. Reflections on the IBCD 2017 Summer Institute
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of attending the IBCD Summer Institute in San Diego. The focus was on addiction counseling. It was a great conference and next week I’ll share some thoughts and insights from the week.
2. The Spiritual Gifts: Understanding the Spirit (Part 4)
Wrapping up our survey of the works of the Spirit
3. The Fruit of the Spirit: Gentleness
Next week we’ll explore what gentleness looks like as a fruit of the Spirit of God in the life of the believer.
4. On Experiential Avoidance
It is possible to develop a real fear of our feelings. Next week we will seek to understand this experience better and offer some level of hope and help on facing the struggle.
