Next Week

nextweekDon’t miss these blog posts and more next week at Pastor Dave Online:

1. A Review of Washed and Waiting by Wesley Hill

This is a beautiful theological memoir from a brother in Christ who struggles with same-sex attraction. Hill details what it means for him to be faithful to Christ while also having a homosexual orientation, and he looks to the future hope of glory when all things will be made new. I loved this book. It is beautiful, faithful to Scripture, and inspiring.

2. What does Pluralism mean for our Evangelism?

The pluralistic context in which we find ourselves in America does have implications for our evangelism, and yet our evangelistic message is exactly the same as it has always been.

3. The Messiah for Pariahs: Jesus, Friend of Outcasts

Next week I’ll start a new series exploring Jesus’ relationship with the social outcasts of his day and what that means for us, our ministries, and our joy today.

4. Singing the Language of the Kingdom

The Kingdom of God needs to capture our imagination. One way we can cultivate a godly imagination, then, is to sing the language of the Kingdom together.
