The Christmas season is such a special time. And even though there’s lots of cliche and tackiness, I can’t help but love it. So here is my list of best Holiday Movies to watch this Christmas season, check them out and share your list in the comments below.
5. Die Hard – it takes place on Christmas Eve, it’s a Christmas movie!
4. The Nightmare Before Christmas – Tim Burton’s genius shines through in this fantastic, fun, and creative stop-motion movie about a Skeleton from Halloween Town who falls in love with Christmas.
3. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation – Anything that could go wrong at Christmas time does in this movie, and the comedic genius of Chevy Chase in it makes this the funniest and most jolly of all holiday movies!
2. A Christmas Story – This one needs no discussion, it’s a classic. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without some reference to “shooting your eye out.”
1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas – My absolute favorite Christmas classic. We watch it every year while putting up the Christmas tree. It’s not just a great story with a lovable character, but the narration and the classic song by Thurl Ravenscroft is fantastic.
