With the holiday next week I am going to be doing very little writing, but here’s what you can expect to see next week at Pastor Dave Online:

A review of Gay…Such Were Some of Us ed. by David Longacre

This collection of personal stories of transformation was beautiful to read. While avoiding the temptation to universalize these accounts, Longacre has nonetheless provided 15 counter arguments to the claim that sexual identity cannot change. I enjoyed this book very much.

 Studies in Leviticus: Fungus Among Us (Leviticus 13 & 14)

Next week, we’ll track back to chapters 13 and 14 to consider both skin disease and mildew and the process of purification for each as delineated in these chapters. Though these seem like strange chapters they contain important theological truths about ritual impurity and the holiness of God’s presence.
