1) A review of Cross-Shaped Gospel by Bryan Lorrits
I’ve really enjoyed this book. Bryan talks about the Christian life as being shaped like a cross. We have a primary responsibility towards God (the vertical beam), but we also have a responsiblity toward each other (the horizontal beam). Taking Jesus as our model and applying this gospel to all areas of life Bryan explores particularly the way this cross-shaped gospel impacts our politics, race, economics, and more. Great read.
