This was a fantastic book that snuck in at the end of the year to make my top five best books of 2013. I can’t wait to share it with others.

2. Uncomfortable Grace: Sometimes It Hurts

Continuing this series on the uncomfortable nature of grace I will explore next week how even some painful moments can be gracious acts of God.

3. Recovery Promotional Event

So excited to announce our upcoming Recovery party and excited to invite everyone out to join us as we hear testimonies, discuss the program, and pray for God’s blessing on it. We will also enjoy being led in worship by one of my favorite bands, the Caleb Hickerson Band.

4. Ask Pastor Dave: Why Read Theology Books?

This was an earnest question from some one who isn’t quite convinced that they need anything other than their Bible. I am going to make a case next week that they in fact need good theology books, good teachers, good pastors, etc. and I am going to do it from the Bible itself.
