2. Edwardsian Anxiety: Fear and Perfectionism

Edwards struggle with assurance of salvation led him to frequent self-examination, but that only deepened his anxiety. Next week we’ll explore the great preacher’s anxiety and perfectionism in more detail.

3. Inerrancy and Worldview: Modern Challenges to Inerrancy (Part 26)

Next week we will actually consider how the principle of analogy helps us to address some of the sociological challenges to the doctrine of inerrancy. Since I missed the opportunity to write this post this week, I will make up for it next.

4. Thinking Rightly About Miracles: A Better Definition

Defining the term “miracle” requires us to look carefully at how God defines his own relationship to the world. Next week we’ll do better than defining miracles according to nature or immediacy.
