The Bible: A Local Book

It’s easy to forget, as we embrace the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible is a book composed by real men in real contexts. It’s easy to forget the local flavor, references, and reality of the pages of the Old and New Testament. Zach Eswine has a helpful reminder on this subject in his post on “Why Pastors Need the Local Flavor of the Bible“. Pastor, or not, this is worth a read.
