1) Insurrection by Peter Rollins

I was invited by Rollins’ publisher to review an advanced copy of this book and I am excited to do so. Rollins is one of the most interesting of the Emergent crowd, and yet I find most of his assertions absolutely heretical. It always makes for an engaging read.

2) God, Revelation, and Authority vol. 4 by Carl F. Henry

I have been working my way through this massive and brilliant (and thorough) series. After a short break I am jumping back in to begin the long trek down the other side of the GRA mountain. Volume four is the largest of the whole set (which is saying a lot) and I am both excited and fearful as I begin it! It’s like climbing Everest for book-reading-nerds who hate the outdoors.
