1. A review of Multiply by Francis Chan

Chan’s book is a great resource for new or immature Christians who want to grow because it is both comprehensive and designed to be read in a group with others. It focuses on relationship building as much as on communicating information and that makes it a great resource for basic discipleship.

2. Deconstructing Contemporary Discipleship

Contemporary approaches to discipleship are reductionist in their approach to making disciples and next week I want to look at and expose some common problems. This year’s study project has me working as part of a research team to investigate how we can do discipleship better, it begins by identifying how we’re doing it poorly.

3. Coffee & Friendship: Explorations in the Value of Diversity

In praise of friends who are very different from me.

4. Ask Pastor Dave: Is It A Sin to Be “Fat”?
