Though I am no longer a Southern Baptist I love the school that gave me so much. The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is a wonderful institution with a great faculty, staff, and a tremendous president. Dr. R. Albert Mohler has done some of the most amazing things in the history of theological education at this institution, most notably is his role in bringing the seminary back from the folds of heresy to its orthodox teaching.
Justin Taylor has highlighted that work and points readers to a two-part series that Dr. Mohler gave at a Sovereign Grace Ministries Leadership Conference where he discusses the process of that reformation. It is an amazing story and I am thankful to God for his work there, and for all the many ways I have benefited from that reformation. Check it out.
