If it is a bit too dramatic at points, it is nonetheless the most thorough treatment of the subject that I have read to date and well worth the time to read.

2) We’re (Not) Gonna Change the World

In order to give a balance to this post that I wrote last week, I want to offer some further reflections on social justice and the gospel. Much of what is said here is going to be a reflection on points I made in last weekend’s sermon.

3) The Charge of Bibliolatry

Often Evangelicals are accused of worshiping the Bible over and above the God of the Bible. How, then, do we balance our belief in the Scriptures without falling prey to idolatry? That’s what we’ll discuss this coming week.

4) And Also Much Cattle: Why is God concerned to spare the cows in Jonah 4?

Jonah ends with a really odd phrase where God informs the prophet that he wants to spare Nineveh because it has many cows. Why does this God make this point? We’ll unpack this verse in more detail next week.
