Next Week

Here’s a glimpse into the future:

1) A review of Identity by Eric Geiger

This is such an important subject and so little good writing is done on it. I enjoyed this book by Geiger, but I confess I wanted a lot more exegetical, theological, and sociological work than he offers. It is a popular level book and it’s not bad but it’s not sufficient for my studies at the moment.

2) Necro-Theology: Faith Without Works

This post will launch a new mini-series dealing with content from James 2. This particular post defines dead faith for us.

3) Necro-Theology: Be Warm and Be Filled

As a continuance of our study of James 2, this post will look at the emptiness of dead faith.

4) Necr0-Theology: You Believe in God

Necro-Theology that merely addresses doctrine as a bunch of facts contributes to a dead faith.

5) Necro-Theology: The Willing Sacrifice

Finally, this next week we will talk about the real power that breaks us free from dead faith.
