Here’s what’s coming next week at Pastor Dave Online:

1) A review of Real Marriage by Mark and Grace Driscoll

Though the book has been significantly hyped, the reality is that it’s just a simple, practical, and largely helpful book on marriage. The controversial chapters were short and the overall focus was on Scripture. I have a few criticism but overall value this book as a helpful resource.

2) Son of Man and Suffering Servant: King Jesus in the Gospel of Mark

A quick look at these two major components of Jesus’ role in the coming of the Kingdom as explained in the Gospel according to Mark. Jesus fulfills and combines the picture of the King in the book of Daniel and of the suffering servant in the book of Isaiah.

3) A Theology of Sex: Setting the Context

Understanding the sexual culture in which we exist today will help us as we continue to unpack a theology of sex.

4) A Theology for Hipster (Part 30): Keeping the Fundamentals (Part 9)

Next week we will turn our attention to unbiblical rebellion.
