When Your Pastor Doesn’t Preach Like John Piper

My former pastor and mentor Steve Burchett, who was an excellent preacher, wrote a birlliant article about how the average Christian should handle the realization that their pastor doesn’t preach like John Piper. It’s a good article. Don’t get bogged down in the use of John Piper, you could insert any famous preacher here. Piper does seem like the logical choice, of course, but it’s worth noting that the point is how we should handle being pastored and preached to by average guys, and not celebrities.
