Everyone is reporting on it and for good reason: The Kaiser Family Foundation has released a researched report revealing that children between the ages of 8 and 18 spend, on average, 7 1/2 hours a day on electronic media.
Many are raising questions about how this will affect both family life in general and chidlren in specific. You can read the whole report here.
I have to agree with Al Mohler on this subject when he says that the real key will come down to good parenting. Parents need to not only set boundaries, however, but they need to engage with their children on the electronic media and help them think both about it and about their time using it.
